We are running GPMC on both Windows 8 and Server 2012 in our Server 2008 R2 domain, but not seeing any of the new settings. Is there a basic or obvious reason we are missing as to why we are not seeing them? I was under the impression (and it's been my experience) that nothing else needed to be done as long as you were running the latest version of the GPMC tool—no copying of ADMX files, domain upgrades, or schema extensions.
The only thing I see that may be of note is the GPMC is stating that the Admin Templates Policy Definitions are being retrieved from the central store. Is this in addition to or in place of the local definitions on the machine?
