Alright boys and girls, Microsoft seems to have flat out REMOVED the section that deals with windows search from Server 2012 GPO's. There doesn't seem to be any way to manage indexing options or to include/exclude locations if you are running Server 2012 and trying to manage Windows 7 clients.
Every article I have read says to simply go to the following path:
Computer Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Search
problem is that patch DOES NOT EXIST in server 2012 GPO.
I need to exclude and/or remove the "offline files" from being included as a location to index on my windows 7 clients and it needs to be done via GPO. I am using Server 2012. Where can this be done?
