I have a GPO which is literally just:-
User Configuration-> Preferences-> Windows Settings-> Shortcuts-> Configured shortcut
I apply this to the OU with my account in and removed authenticated users from Security Filtering and added my target account in, ensured Under details GPO Status is Enabled, confirmed under Delegation tab that Authenticated Users have read access and that my target account has Apply Group Policy ticked, confirmed the GPO in link enabled and confirmed it has replicated between my two domain controllers.
I then run a policy modeling wizard on my target account however there is no sign of this policy on the applied or denied GPO lists. Obviously running an rsop or gpresult on the machine shows no record of this GPO either so I must be missing something here. Any ideas??
