I have gotten my folder direction with a mandatory profile to a MS failover cluster working pretty well.
Now comes the group policy and I'm having issues. I created a single gpo just for the redirection and when i apply it to the OU my user account is in, it works perfectly.
The problem naturally is I only want it applied when i log into the RDSH servers. Three RDSH servers (in a farm) are all located in a OU at the root of my domain, Block Inheritance is checked off and I have my machine specific gpo named RDS Servers applied to the OU, based on the following article in the section named "Terminal Server Group Policy Best Practice":
Starting with step9, creating my additional gpo for each user population, i've applied the Folder Redirection GPO mentioned above and it does not work. I just end up with the local mandatory profile and no redirection happens. In fact if i log in with an account I haven't tried, nothing is created in my folder redirection share.
I know it's not rights on the folder share, as I said, the same policy linked to the user account OU will create all of the redirected folders under the username folder, i.e. \\ClusterFS\FolderRedir\Username....
What other info do you need to help me troubleshoot this?
