GPO to add a custom network location

We are coming out of mapping drive letters and also adding shortcuts of the network location.  we are full aware on how to do these using GPO preferences and item targeting.

We like to understand on how to add a network location for 100 users using GPO.

its easy to add a shortcut however the user can easily browse for the other shares on the fileserver.

we need to add a network location.
