I have a windows 2008 SP2 server that is getting hung on waiting for Group Policy Client after up for some random amount of time.
The symptoms are that those that are in the system can continue to run but any new sessions get hung up.
I am getting Event IT 7011 about the transaction response from gpsvc failing after 30000 milliseconds.
There are group policies applied to this machine but inheritance is not blocked.
Does anyone have any idea what to look at to get more information? When this happens the only option i have had was to hard boot the server.
