Hi all,
I am facing a problem regarding 802.3 Policies .I created a wired network policy called "Network Auth" using a Server 2008 GPMC and it worked for Win7 and Win Vista. Also it shows that this policy is for Win Vista and earlier release. My requirement is to apply all 802.3 setting on both WinXP(SP3) and Win7 users. However i enforced that policy and unchecked the option"Validate Server certificate" as i dont need this option. This policy works fine with Win7 but when it comes to Win XP (SP3) each time Validate server certificate is checked automatically.Which is causing network authentication error. Can anyone help me or suggest me any workaround so that i could enforce the same 802.1x policy for WinXP SP3 users and by group policy i could be able to Uncheck "Validate server certificate option.
The solution should be for WinXP SP3 using Windows Server 2008 group policy.
Thanks
Umair :)
