GPO Preferences - Drive Maps - proper way to 'override' or remove using another GPO

Hello,

There are some Drive Maps GPO preferences set on an OU containing user accounts. I have one particular server for which I'm using loopback processing in 'replace' mode to override the normal 'user' settings. Currently, the Drive Maps are still there (for users who have already logged into the server and already had the mapped drives created), which I assume is because they are set to 'reconnect', and if mapped drives done via Drive Maps preferences are like it is with good old 'net use', then the action is done once and will remain until manually removed.

So, what is the appropriate way to get rid of the Drive Maps via a GPO linked to this computer account with loopback processing?

From the GPO editor UI, I'm guessing I have the following options:

1. Right clicking the main 'Drive Maps' node on the left -> 'all tasks' -> 'disable'. Is that supposed to disable any/all drive maps from that GPO and any other inherited GPO settings?

2. Add new drive maps, the following actions are available: 'create', 'replace', 'update', 'delete'. Do I have to make an explicit 'delete' action for each drive? or something with one of the other action options?

Thanks!
