Group Policy Linked with WMI Filter not getting updated on a Windows 2003 server.

Hi All,

We have a Windows 2003 based Citrix PS 4.5 Server which is restored from the backup.

The Policies linked with WMI Filter are not getting updated on this server and  they are filtered out 

GPResult on Problematic server:

The following GPOs were not applied because they were filtered out

OU-CTX-TSServers
Filtering:  Denied (WMI Filter)
WMI Filter: S-CitrixServerInstalled-SRV-v1.0


I have tested the Query ( root\CIMV2  select * from win32_service where NAME = "IMAService" ) in WMI filter locally on problematic server using WBEMTest.exe and query returns a positive result.

The Same GPO applies to another server and in that server we dont find any problem in updating the GPO.

The GPO has Computer settings and not user settings and is applied to only computer objects. User settings are disabled as well.

The Security filter of GPO applies to Security group where in the problematic server is a member and same security group have read and apply group policy permission.


Please advise on how to progress on this.
