service needs full control of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Eventlog in GPO

<p>Greetings - </p><p>My MS WIN 2008 Server machines are all hardened for security purposes. However, i'm trying to impliment a softening GPO due to some application requirements. This particular one is to give the apps permissions to write to the event logs, which seems to have been changed due to hardening. </p><p><span style="font-family:'Calibri', 'sans-serif';font-size:11pt;">Our test lab has determined that the service account must have <strong>Full Control</strong> of the registry key <strong>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Eventlog</strong> &nbsp;in order for the LTE apps to write to the Event logs.</span></p><p></p><p></p><p>&nbsp;</p>
