Old printer GPO is still applying, even after removing it from group policy all together.

Hello,

As the title says I have an old printer deployment policy that is no longer linked to any OUs, but is still applying to multiple workstations. GPO has been removed for 7 days, and multiple restarts and gpupdate /force commands have been preformed. I also removed all printer queues and drivers from registry manually and removed all group policy registry settings and still no luck. As soon as I reboot, it installs both the old and new printers.

The reason I need this is because we are putting in a new print server. I realize that shutting down the old print server would stop the old printers from connecting, but that seems like a poor way to resolve this issue. Any assistance would be much appreciated!

Thank you,

Wes
