This error (and many other similar errors) exists on the event viewer on our Print Server, which also happens to be our (Server 2008) Terminal Server:
The user 'SALES - HP 4240' preference item in the 'Printer - Sales {7788EE5F-D834-4D7D-A646-D440E8DAC64B}' Group Policy object did not apply because it failed with error code '0x8007007b The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.' This error was suppressed.
The print server has the printers shared on the network, and these printers are applied by user preference group policy. Computers don't have a problem connecting to and printing from these printers when users log in. Could this be because the policy is being applied to the Terminal Server when the printers are already installed locally? Ideas?
Edit: Warning, not Error number 4098
