In my GPO that I've created and have been using for several months now, I use the name change settings under computer config >> yada yada >> security options >> accounts and have it so when a computer is migrated into the OU associated with this GPO, it changes the name of built-in admin, to the name of my choice. I have had no issues with this, until today. I noticed with a newly built machine and existing machine, once both migrated, do not have the built-in admin account name changed. A local account is created with the specified name and that's it. Not sure why this, considering I've had no problems with this previously. Only thing that has changed recently within the environment here is I changed the name of the OU that these machines and GPO reside in-- that's it.
