I have been working and searching on this issue but I am not able to implement or get accurate guide about how to do this.
I want to customize place bar for file opening saving dialog (for any application but particularly for MS office ) for all the users on the domain accessing RDP 2008 server, either via group policy or regedit (adm file) or what ever is possible. I want to remove all the default links in place bar(already done via adm file) and now want to add mydocs(redirected to remote server) to the place bar.
It works great for RDP server 2003 , but on 2008 its just not working. I have enabled the common file dialog box from user configuration > admin tools > windows components > windows explorer > common file dialog but its not working, I have attempted through registry editor but no luck.
Can some one please provide me the details exactly for this scenario
Domain controller: server 2008
user machine, Remote desktop server: server 2008
