Folder Redirection - Access denied - Win7 - Some users.

I'm at a loss on this. Have spent the last 2 days trying things and scouring the web for a solution.

The error is:

Failed to apply policy and redirect folder "Desktop" to "\\Lunanas\Users\hrieck\Desktop".
 Redirection options=0x80009021.
The following error occurred: "Failed to copy files from "C:\Users\hrieck\Desktop" to "\\Lunanas\Users\hrieck\Desktop"".
 Error details: "Access is denied.

Get this same error for My Documents and all it's subfolders.

Station in question is Windows 7 Pro 32.

The user in question successively redirects when logging into an XP machine and into a Windows 2008 Terminal Server.

If I create a new user in the same OU as hrieck redirection works fine for them on this same station.

I have compared the permissions of a user folder on \\lunanas\users that works on this machine with hrieck and they appear to be identical.

hrieck can access the \\Lunanas\Users\hrieck\Desktop folder once logged in to this station and has full control. They can add/edit and delete files and folders in this path.

What am I missing?  Why would redirection fail at login with access denied when the user has full control of that location once logged in?
