Hello,
We just migrated/upgraded our servers from server 2003 to 2008. In addition we are now using RDS on one of the servers. We installed Outlook (about 35 users) on the RDS server but I used an Outlook "profile helper" to configure each account. Now Outlook is in Cache mode. I would like all Outlook sessions in Online Mode.
I was told that without the "helper" and with manual configuration, the default policy for RDS server would have been Outlook in Online Mode. I was doing some reading about Group Policy in general and got a little confused about something. If these were workstations I would use a domain policy. Since Outlook is actually on the server would I use a local policy or stay with domain policy? Which way do I go?
Am I making sense?
Thanks
Dean
