hello all. thanks for the time.
i am at my wits end here. pulling my hair out almost. i was creating a group policy for windows updates and i am able to get the computers to show up in the groups that i created for them in the wsus server. However what i dont see is the configs i changed on the policy. it is not reflected in the local policy on the servers that should have the policy applied.
for example i put in a value for 'specify intranet Microsoft update services location' as http://localsus.lcl on the policy however it does not show up against the computers that should be getting the policy. shows nothing.
ive done reboots. waited 90mins plus. forced updates. same result. dont see the changes from the policy on the local computers.
What am i missing...besides hair on my head from going crazy here. :)
btw: domain is windows server 2008R2.... is using the wuau.adm file necessary?
