folder redirection to inaccessable folder

Hi

I work in a corproate environment running server 2003 and windows XP SP3 on the client. About 200 clients seem to think that their My Documents folder should be mapped to a technicians  file share. We're pretty sure this dates back to when the tech in question accidently copied his own profile to the default profile for an image which was subsequently deployed to multiple devices.

I don't want to re image the devices, I want to know why they think thier my documents should point to tech1's file share. I've searched the PC's regsitries and I can't find any reference to tech1's file share. I switched on fdeploy logging and this is what I see.

The only refereence I can find to tech1 is in the C:\WINDOWS\CSC\00000001 file but resetting the offline folder cache doesn't seem to make any difference.

I've read this post http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/winserverGP/thread/41aa8a57-3ed3-468b-b462-472367bb52ea but it doesn't provide any answers.

Does anyone know where Windows defines where my documetns should point?

Cheers

Alex
