Troubles with Maximum Password Age

Hey,

We are in the middle of Implementing a GPO from a third-party vendor called SpecOps which is suppose to handle the password policies but we are running into an issue where the maximum age is defaulting to 42 days versus 90. Now we have not touched the Default Domain Policy where it is not defined. if this is left undefined will it default to 42? if that's the case do we have to define in it in the default domain policy?
