Hi Guys,
I have a very strange situation. I have installed a new terminal server and was configuring it with no issues. I moved the server to our Production OU where all of our domain group policies were applied and the login time spiked to 10 minutes (600 seconds mentioned by a warning in the event vierwer).
I blocked inheritance on the new Server's OU and tested login and it was normal login speed. I then linked all of the policies from the OU's above directly to the blocked OU and the login time stayed stable. As soon as I stopped inheritance and allowed the policies to be applied from the top level, the slow login returned.
So it is something to do with group policy, but no the policy itself. There are other servers in the same OU structure that are getting the same policies but they are not exchibiting the same behaviour.
Any ideas?
