New GPO to the client machine

Hi,

I know that existing GPO is updated on client computers in max time period for 90 mins.

My question is: when I create new GPO it will be applied to the client? In max 90 mins also?
When I type gpupdate /force (on client) - should I get itimmediately or do I need to type gpupdate /force first on DC and then on client also?
