Group Policy - 'Add the Administrators security group to roaming user profiles' - Doesn't appear to work

Hi,

I'm in the process of rolling out a test network of:-

Windows Server 2012, Domain Controller, all hotfixes as of 12-Jan-2013

Windows 8 Pro, Clients, all hotfixes as of 12-Jan-2013

I'm having an issue with Roaming Profiles.  Where administrators have no privalages to the <username>.V2 directory.   I believe I've got the security for the Share & the Folder setup correctly:-

Share

All Users - Full access.

No files or programs from the shared folder are available offline.

Access Based Enumeration is enabled.

Folder

Administrators - Full control, this folder, sub-folders & files

System  - Full control, this folder, sub-folders & files

Creator/Owner  - Full control, sub-folders & files only

Authenticated Users - traverse folder, list folder, read attributes, read extended attributes, create files, create folders, read permissions

The Group Policy Object that sets the 'Add the Administrators security group to roaming user profiles' to Enabled is part of the policy that also handles Folder Redirection, (which is working as expected), so I'm pretty sure the setting is being applied correctly and the Roaming profiles that have been created appear to work fine as far as the user is concerned.

Note: the share used for the Folder Redirection is a different share on the same server, than that witch is used for user profiles.

Can someone please point out what I've done wrong here!

Many thanks in advance.
