We have a number of Windows 7 machines that the proxy settings we have set in group policy are being modified upon login. I have ran a results wizard against these machines which is applying correctly.
What is strange is that on two identical machines in the same OU with the same user and same polices 1 machine will get the correct proxy and the other will not.
I have scanned through the registry and found different settings under NLASVC services which points to the incorrect proxy and seems to be causing this issue. From what I have read the only policy that writes this regkey is Computer Configuration/Administrative
templates/Windows Components/Internet Explorer/Make proxy settings per machine. This policy has been left not configured.
