I have set up a new server 2008 R2 as the previous tech had let it get infected and had no backups.
I have never had these problems before with server 2008 r2.
The users roaming profile folder is on the d:
Server name is w2k8
Sharing:
Share name: Users$
permissions:Authenticated Users (full control)
Domain Admins (full control)
Domain users (full control)
Security:
PermissionsAdministrator (full control)
creator owner (full control)
system full control
Users (traverse folder, list folder, read attributes, read extended attributes, read permissions)
users (create files, create folders)
User profile path \\w2k8\users$\MichelleS\profile
when signing on with the user I get this profile is temporary or windows is unable to find the profile (this one is rare)
I have two GPO set up
the first is called folder redirection GPO
